June 30 - A friend's 60th birthday.
June 13 - Visited the Happy Valley Lavender Farm to sketch "en plein air."
July 21 - Cool weather left the Moss St. Paint-In under attended but pleasant for those of us who went.
July 25 - Spent the afternoon on the beach at East Sooke park. The walk through the old Aylar Farm orchard is always a treat.
Aug 1 - Delightful view approaching Cattle Point with Discovery Island in the distance.
Aug 2 - The arbutus bark was pealing up on Observatory Hill while attending a plein air drawing session with friends.
Aug 5 - Spent the day on Mystic Beach. It was heavily fogged in but so warm it felt like a sauna.
Aug 12 - Attended the "Bowker Creek Brush Up" where we met the pup artist.
Aug 23 - Plein air session at the Raven Hill Herb Farm was brief due to the shortening light in the evening.
Aug 29 - One of the highlights of my summer was the opportunity to join friends to draw and paint en plein air.
